Purpose:

Inverted Scope for looking at cells in petri dishes and microscope slides.
Brightfield, phase and fluorescence. Fluorescence covers visible range from UV to near IR.
Low light capture at video rates (30 frames/second). Video deck, timer (puts time in milliseconds onto videotape) and monitor.
12-bit, high resolution camera for still capture.
Uses Image ProPlus for for automated counts, areas, lengths, density/intensity, motion analysis, cluster analysis and other morphometric measurements.
Laser tweezers set up for measuring physical characteristics of tissue (in construction)
