Purpose:
- Inverted Scope for looking at cells in petri dishes and microscope slides.
- Brightfield, phase and fluorescence. Fluorescence covers visible range from UV to near IR.
- Low light capture at video rates (30 frames/second). Video deck, timer (puts time in milliseconds onto videotape) and monitor.
- 12-bit, high resolution camera for still capture.
- Uses Image ProPlus for for automated counts, areas, lengths, density/intensity, motion analysis, cluster analysis and other morphometric measurements.
- Laser tweezers set up for measuring physical characteristics of tissue (in construction)
